From One Shop to Four: The Sweet Journey of Go Nuts on Donuts
Go Nuts on Donuts was born from an unexpected journey, driven by passion and a desire to share something truly special with New Zealand. Founded by Narender Singh, a former security worker, the story began with a simple yet powerful idea: to show Kiwis just how incredible handmade doughnuts can be.
Narender’s journey into the world of doughnuts started during his nine years working at Donut King in Sydney. After relocating to New Zealand in 2012, he saw an opportunity to bring something new to the local food scene. “People don’t know about doughnuts in this country,” he thought. “It’s all done by machines. Why not show them what a real, handmade doughnut can taste like?” So, he set out to do just that.
In 2019, Go Nuts on Donuts opened its doors on Witham Street, Hornby, where Narender returned to his doughnut-making roots. Despite years away from the craft, he quickly regained his skills, dedicating himself to crafting fresh, handmade doughnuts with the finest ingredients. The business quickly grew in popularity, and soon the community was craving more.
Today, Go Nuts on Donuts has expanded to four locations across Christchurch:

We offer 17 unique varieties, including a dedicated vegan range, and continue to ensure that every doughnut is handmade with care and attention to detail. We take great pride in crafting doughnuts that stand out, with the knowledge that each batch is created with only the finest ingredients and our hands-on approach.
